Yep.

Anything that side of New Barn St is Plaistow.

Watched it on You Tube last night. Thought it was a decent enough watch, as said below a bit syrupy, but most of these sort of things are. Looking back a bit more pace he would have probably got that England cap. Loved the crunch on Edgar David's, showed that when the legs were there he was a good player. Only irritant for ne was the bloody adverts every 5 minutes!

Good film but a bit too much Danny Dire for my liking.

Canning Town aficionados can correct me if I'm wrong, but I would say Jenkins Road E13 where he was born is really Plaistow, no?

Re: One Of Our Own | Mark Noble Documentary
didnt think he seemed bitter at all. Would have been a cherry on top but dont think he loses any sleep over it. Canning Town to west Ham 1st team is enough. He cant be bitter at being a millionaire and Mr West Ham. As his dad says, he played for England every week in an West Ham shirt.

Deano, we stole the Payet song from some team up north, Newcastle I think?

"I put West Ham ahead of myself".

Yes, that's why, as one of the few people who got to see the inside of the stadium during its reconfiguration, you kept quiet when knowing it would be shit and completely unsuitable for the fans.

Ox - Yep, he is clearly bitter about no England cap, poor sod almost had the complete perfect life that he likes to keep reminding us of. Maybe it is true that you can't have it all.

Football's been going so long, and top league clubs have been buying in talent for almost as long, so I doubt "One of Our Own" was Tottenham's invention. After all, it's far from being particularly clever.

A reinvention at most

Re: One Of Our Own | Mark Noble Documentary
The “One of our own” title annoys me. As anal as that may be - was it not originally coined by spurs fans about Harry Kane? I know it’s modern football, but I hate when fans ‘borrow’ other fans chants, so unimaginative and generic. One day I’m sure we’ll hear spurs singing about being massive. Just like Arsenal sung the payet song for Ozil. Anyways, Noble was a loyal & decent player who never had the chance to move to a top team because he wasn’t good enough. For me he symbolises a pretty shit 15 year period as a West Ham supporter where the highlight was an FA Cup final defeat and an improbable relegation survival (I went to all of that run in and loved it to be fair) But I’m sure it’s a decent watch that I’ll pencil in for a winters day.

On the edge of being a bit syrupy, but worth a watch.

Lack of England call-ups clearly sticks in the craw, but (I) have no doubt that was more due to off-field FA politics than anything else.

Nice documentary but went on too long - a metaphor for his career.

Seems like a really nice guy though

Good doc, enjoyed it. Bit like Kenzo, he's won me over in recent years, definitely a leader type and a good club man.Okay, you would be forgiven to thinking he had cured cancer the way he is bigged up all over, but that has to be expected. Didn't like the comment ''i've put West Ham before myself'' Do me a favour.

Coffee - I thought his old man looked well, distinguished.

fair play to Allardyce for bothering to take part and say such nice words, and nice to see my Dad's old mate Jimmy Tindall involved. great film

Was never his biggest fan based on ability, but watching that documentary made me realise how much i underestimated and undervalued him. Excellent video and well put together. Has to come back to the club in some capacity, it would be a crime for it not to happen
